This is the project where I finally put my time, my health, and my sanity on the line to document the reality of being a working musician.

’m tired of waiting for the right time, the right deal, or the right mood. The Master Operating Manual says that the only way to avoid the fear of the blank page is to fill it every week, no matter how messy. I’m trading perfection for persistence. The scratch track is the final product.

Here is the contract:

  • Saturdays: You get the music—a new song for the Saturday Songs album series (hosted on Bandcamp).

  • Tuesdays: You get the story—a new chapter of The Scratch Track Journals.

The clock starts now. Join the ride and see if I pull this off, or if I crash and burn by March. The first song drops this Saturday.
